The island of Halki lies in the Dodecanese area of south eastern Greece, just off the west coast of Rhodes. You can get there by flying to Rhodes from many regional airports and then taking a ferry from Kameiros Skala. The boat takes 1¼ hours to reach the harbour of Emborio, from where it is a short climb to the house.

The house is located in the centre of the harbour, close to the shops, tavernas and bars.
